I bought these just before Christmas as I was becoming extremely irritated with the fit, comfort and constant falling of my AirPod Pros. These are so comfortable, the sound is great and they have accompanied me on every walk, run and gym since purchase. My AirPod Pros have been resigned to a draw and I have zero regrets!!
I brought these to use when I go running. They are lightweight, comfortable and the sound quality is a bit better than the previous model, which my partner has. Being a bit of an audiophile I do note that the quality of the bass isn't as good as in ear headphones but that's a compromise worth making to be able to listen to music while running. I also now use them while working from home on video calls because they let me hear the other person while also being able to clearly hear myself talking and are comfortable to wear for long periods. Highly recommended if you want to listen while on the move.
If I could give a negative star, I would. These are the absolute worst headphones I have ever ever ever had. Not only does the sound suffer with these, but they are completely unreliable when it comes to charging. You toss the dice whenever you pick these things up off the charger and expect them to work before you go on your run! I just threw mine across the room and into the floor after a year and a half because I was absolutely done with it!… that’s what you do with junk on New Years Day: out with the old and in with the new; and my “new” will not be anything produced by this manufacturer of junk.
I love myAeropex headphones. They were bought for me as a birthday present two and a bit years ago. They are very comfortable and I use them daily to listen to podcasts when mucking out the horses and walking the dogs. Unfortunately, I have had an issue from the start with them turning themselves off when the outside temperature gets to around freezing / frosty conditions. When I wear a hat it pushes the back down towards my coat collar and that's when they switch off. This doesn't happen when the temperature is above freezing. They are so practical for my uses that I still rate them highly. Without this issue, they would be a definite 5 star from me.
I bought a pair of Aeropex as these were advertised as IP67 waterproof and weather resistant. The first pair stopped working and were replaced under warranty. The second pair stopped charging and were replaced under warranty. The third pair now won’t charge and I’m advised are out of warranty. I was told by the Aftershokz adviser that water can get into the microphone - so they’re not waterproof or weather resistant then?! I do not swim in them! I occasionally run in the rain, and then don’t charge them straight away. Avoid unless you want to waste your money
Test conditions: Ambient temperature was 25°C. Audio encoding was 320-kbps MP3 white noise. Volume was set to 68% (sound pressure level was measured as 66.7±1.0 dBA by the sound level meter at a vertical distance of 10mm from the face side of the transducer as the headphone was suspended in the air while playing audio).
Test content: Aeropex battery was fully drained and then was charged to 100%. Audio was played until it automatically turned off.
The test result showed that the continuous playtime of Aeropex was up to 8 hours. In practice, battery life depends on device settings, environment, usage, and many other factors.
