Shokz DirectPitch™ technology uses reverse sound waves to optimise the distance and angle between the sound source and the human ear, resulting in relatively greater sound pressure toward the human ear and less sound pressure in directions other than towards the ear canal.

This allows the listener to hear the sound without headphones being in the ear,

According to the test results from Shokz Lab, at a distance of 20 cm from the headphones, DirectPitch™ 2.0 technology reduces sound leakage by 2 to 5dB compared to the previous version. This corresponds to an equivalent reduction of 20% to 45% in sound energy.
This data was gathered at the Shokz Lab in a temperature-controlled environment of 25±2℃, playing SBC-encoded audio at a 50% volume and all other features set to default. The actual battery life depends on the volume, sound source, degree of environmental interference, product features, use habits, and other factors. Quick charging requires the charging case to be in the green light prompt state.
Drawing insights from the Shokz Lab's experiments simulating scenarios like crossroad, aligning the dual microphones to this position yields an average signal-to-noise ratio improvement of 51dB when the artificial head experiences a sound pressure level of 65-72dB(A). This translates to a 99.97% reduction in environmental noise.
IP55 water-resistance only applies to the earbuds, and charging case is not rated waterproof. OpenFit 2 is resistant to sweat and water splashes, suitable for non-aquatic sports and activities. Under specific testing conditions, its waterproof performance has reached the IP55 level based on the IEC 60529 standard. The sweat and waterproof capability is not permanent and may decrease over time due to wear and tear. DO NOT charge a wet OpenFit 2, nor swim or shower with it.
The materials used in Shokz products comply with relevant international standards. Beyond the regulation of restricted substances, we work extensively and continuously with qualified organisations to conduct rigorous testing to ensure user safety. Please note that this product contains silicone. If you are allergic to silicone, please take this into consideration.

A move to ear buds

I have been using Shohz products for many years, the head sets have been amazing in terms of playing my music or podcasts and at the same time keeping me safe for the traffic and noises around me whilst I run.

I recently treated myself to the Shokz2 product and hoped it would be as good. It is better than I even hoped. And, the ear buds come is a really cool case that acts also as a charging station.

What is not to love about these……thank you Shokz….

Outstanding OpenFit 2+

Have spent a fortune on in ear noise cancelling equipment with problems caused by allergy to the foam tips, my recent conversion to Shokz has been a revelation. Sound quality is just superb and allows for some ambient noise without it being a distraction. My purchase also came with the rubber outer box and a smart tote bag which I wasn't expecting. A very happy user experience, and equipment that's easy to recommend. Price point also very reasonable v Bose or Apple equivalent ear buds.

Superior quality and design

Very impressed with the quality and design vs my old power beats. No longer need to worry about silicone buds falling off and getting lost, case is slimmer and awareness of what is going on around me is a game changer. Shopping experience was easy and efficient. Highly recommend.

Why didn’t I do this before?

After many unhappy years fiddling with in ear headphones to try and get the right sort of fit and going through countless different earbud types, these have been a revelation. Extremely comfortable to wear and I love the fact that you can hear your surroundings as well as having surprisingly good if not better sound quality than the in ear types. I’m not going back after this. Highly recommended.

Cannot complain

Had the open fit 2 for coming up about a week now and cannot say a bad thing about them. They are very comfy and stay in place whatever type of training I’m doing. Either running, weights, functional fitness they don’t budge even whilst dripping with sweat. Audio is great and still haven’t even had to charge them! Super simple to control too with the buttons on the side you can turn volume up or down, skip song, pause/ play. Couldn’t ask for much more. They look great too! Far better than my previous headphones that were from a massive mobile phone company!( take ur guess)

Both earbuds are designed for independent use, allowing for mono music playback or calls. When used individually, each earbud maintains its respective button functionality.

3. Under what circumstance will OpenFit 2 enter standby mode?

When the earbuds are outside the charging case and remain disconnected from Bluetooth devices for 3 minutes, they will enter standby mode to preserve battery life.

4. Can I wear glasses and OpenFit 2 together?

Definitely you can. OpenFit 2 is designed friendly to wear with glasses.
