I bought these more for the microphone element than the sound, but I am very impressed with both. Having used a poly headset for many years I’m amazed by the accuracy of my dictations since switching to the shockz opencomm UC 2.

It’s a shame there isn’t the way that you could switch sides of the microphone, but I’m lucky as I prefer it on the right side anyway.

I had OpenComm UC and recently got upgraded to OpenComm2 UC. This is my third Shokz product and have been in love with the ability of this headset to allowing to stay connected with world physically around you while letting you flawlessly communicate in digital world. Love the upgrade and neat mute button on boom mic. The headset delivers brilliant quality.

So I have had a few pairs over the years but Opencomm with the dongle is the sweet spot for me. I wear them all day for meetings and they never get uncomfortable, plus I can hear what’s going on around me all the time. Then I switch them over to my phone and go running or cycling seamlessly. I think they are
great. Always get comments about the sound quality being good, even used them for big webinars to lots of people with no problem. Highly recommended!

Having tried my husbands openrun pros, I decided to take a plunge in buying these for use in my home office. Working from home as so many of us do now I have found these to be so freeing and simple to use. The audio is crystal clear, and my work colleagues have said there is no increase in ambient noise when I’m in calls with them.
Being wireless I have the freedom to answer the door, or let the dog out and do the many other little tasks without having to fight with any tangled headset cords. I was initially concerned that I may leave the mic open at inappropriate moments but the audible cue when activating the on mic switch to mute is invaluable as is the light on the USB dongle that clearly shows green for mic active and red for mic muted.
Although bought initially for work, these are so comfy that I find I leave them on for extended periods.
Whether used for work, hands free calling whilst exercising, or listening to music or watching TV through my iPad these are simply great, yes they’re not the cheapest but I feel these are worth every penny and I simply wouldn’t be without them.
