As a road cyclist, mountain biker, and parent with a toddler squeezing in gym recovery sessions where I can, the Shokz OpenFit 2+ has been a revelation. So I have been a dedicated wired headphone user for years and now I'm fully coverted to OpenFit 2+. It fundamentally changed how I consume media both when I'm on the go and when I'm at home.

Firstly, the whole experience of ordering them to using them was super streamlined and easy. The application that you can easily download of Google/Apple Store is also very easy to use - you can see how much charge you have left, change the functions of the button commands and (if you for the 2+ model), can turn on Dolby Atmos. Additionally, you can pair your earphones with 2 devices and the transition is super smooth between them.

The headphones themselves are super comfortable and you won't feel them on at all. My ears used to get tired wearing headphones for a long time, but with these I can go for the longest walks and I won't feel fatigue on the ears. I also workout outside, and they are wonderful to keep me aware of my suroundings (because of their open ear design), but also I don't have to worry about them falling out as they are really secure. For more regular use at home, where I'm learn languages and listen to podcasts in target language, I can still hear if someone in the house is talking to me and I can quickly use the buttons to stop whatever I'm listening. Sometimes I even forget I have them on..

I was rather impressed with the way they sound. As a musician, my main concern with open ear earphones was the sound quality. Since it has 2 drivers in each earphone, you get more than sufficient representation of both lower frequencies (bass) as well as higher ones (everything else). The app does have a few presets to adjust the sound to your preferences as well as actual EQ to really personalise it. But I find them sounding great right out of the box. Them being open ear, there is outside bleed, but the earphones have a lot of volume in them, so you can definitely adjust the volume in most situations and still hear the music/podcasts/etc - just be careful with the volume of course! Small detail that I loved (and that's probably just me not being up to date to the newest technology) was how well the bluetooth works. I can leave my phone or laptop in one room and walk around the house without any interruptions or cutouts. I thought a couple of thicker walls will be the limit of the bluetooth reach, but not at all.

I've had a pair of OpenFit2+ for 2 weeks now, used it at home, in town, hikes, walks and workouts and it just seems that it works well in all of these contexts and environments.

Some people run with them some people cycle, but with the right setup we can listen to the same piece of music and take our ballroom dancing to the next level, without disturbing those around us be that at a hotel or on a cruise. we need the bass to keep the beat for foxtrot tango quickstep and son on and these are comfortable and let us concentrate on our performance. If I had one suggestion it would be for the Shokz firmware to allow sharing rather than relying on Samsung, but its a detial

Choosing the right headphones that meet all your expectations are as rare as Unicorns, all too often we rely on reviews as guidance, but as we all know, what suits one person doesn't always suit another. I love listening to music whether it's just sitting / walking or in the gym I have found it very difficult to find the right ones. its either sore ears from the buds or poor quality sound, they just never hit the spot.
Then I discovered just by chance at the airport the Shokz Openfit 2+, as I put them onto my ears they immediately felt like old friends with a comfort I had not discovered in any in ear headphones before. They were so light I hardly knew they were there, no earbuds forced into my ears to give me blisters, it was heaven.
I then switched them on, and again to my pleasure and delight the sound was amazing even with all the hustle and bustle of a busy airport all I could hear was the crisp trebles and warm but powerful Bass.
I was so impressed and excited by what I had finally discovered I went out and bought a pair as soon as I got home. I absolutely love these Headphones and use them nearly every day.
It has taken me a long time to find them and although they are not cheap they are worth every penny and I cannot recommend them enough.

These are fantastic in my opinion, they are very comfortable and light on the ear but even more important is the quality of the sound , they are adjustable for bass and treble plus EQ levels. they are easy to re charge from the case and in my opinion are excellent value for money . Love em.
