I already owned a pair of Openrun Pro’s that I was very happy with so I thought what the heck, time for an upgrade, and I haven’t been disappointed.

I basically use the headphones daily while I am out walking the dog, to listen to and learn various heavy metal songs (I am the lead singer in a covers band), so you can imagine the music that gets played. These headphones allow me to listen in good quality stereo with great sound reproduction, and as with the previous set (that I have now paired with my laptop for use on conference calls) they are comfortable to wear for long periods.

The sound is never going to compete with higher-end in ear or over ear headphones, but the fact that I can wear them while out walking to listen to my music and still hear my surroundings is why I bought them. The sound is great, especially the quality of the bass which is surprisingly good, plus I wear them knowing that as a lover of loud music I am protecting my hearing which I am sure will benefit me as I get older.

The charging time is quick and the headset pairs quickly with my phone every time I switch them on. I have also used them to make and receive phone calls while out and about, with no complaints about the clarity of the call on either end, except maybe some wind noise on breezy days that I usually overcome by putting the hood on my jacket up.

The buttons on the headset are easy to locate and use to switch the phones on and off, adjust the volume, mute the sound, skip forwards or backwards in your playlist, and answer or end calls. Honestly, what more could you need??

I even downloaded the app to my phone which allowed me to register the product and also allows me to monitor the charge percentage and change sound settings. I noticed in the app that dual pairing is also possible but I personally don’t have a use for that.

The other reason I would recommend these over other wireless in ear or over ear bone conduction headphones is that if you’re anything like me, you will lose one of the ear pieces in the grass in the dark (as I did) and that ruined my day. Happily, these phones are virtually impossible to lose.

All in all, a recommended purchase and one which like me, you could easily enjoy using daily.

As a female solo hiker, I cannot recommend the Shokz Pro Run 2 enough! These earphones have been a game-changer for my adventures. I love listening to podcasts or music while I’m out on the trails, but safety is always a priority, especially on the more remote routes.

The bone conduction technology is absolutely brilliant — the sound quality is amazing despite the fact they don’t sit inside your ears. It’s such a unique experience to enjoy crystal-clear audio while still being completely aware of your surroundings. I can hear birds chirping, or even the occasional cyclist approaching from behind, all without feeling “cut off” from the world around me.

They’re lightweight, comfortable, and stay in place no matter how long or intense the hike is. It’s reassuring to know I can stay entertained and focused while also staying safe. For anyone who loves the outdoors but values situational awareness, these earphones are a must-have. Total game-changer!

Really liking the OpenRun pro 2 when running. Easy to use and long-lasting battery. Recommended to family and bought them some too.

I'm really very pleased with my purchase of the OpenRun Pro 2. They are perfect not only for running - but also cycling, wearing around the house and doing the gardening! Lightweight, beautifully made and presented, simple to use, quick to charge with excellent sound production. I'm a petite female, so the "mini" fits perfectly; they are very comfortable, secure in place - no movement with trail running - and can be worn with beanie, headband or peaked cap. Highly recommended.

Nothing special to be honest with you it’s very similar to the old ones that I’ve had the sound quality everything is the same. It’s just another way of money making apart from the USB now nothing is different. I’d rather use the old ones to be honest to you.
