Amazing product.

To start with the design of the Openrun Shokz is excellent. They are so lightweight and fit so well that you hardly notice you are wearing them. Using them while running they stay in place which takes a way the stress of them falling out my ear like I had with other headphones. They allow me to hear traffic when I’m running which is a big plus. (I also have hearing aids and can wear them with the shokz without any problem) On a day to day basis they are also great for listening to music around the house and the bone conduction means you are still able to hear the door or phone - or even my pup ringing her bell to get out. They have great features such as taking calls and it is so easy to pause or skip tracks when listening to music. The magnetic charger is great as there is no fumbling in the dark if coming home late and not wishing to disturb others and they are so easy to carry with you when travelling. I am now on my third set of shokz- the others still work but I like to have a spare pair and wanted to upgrade and I wouldn’t choose any other headphones.

The best headphones for lone runners

Before buying Shokz, I wasted so much money on other headphones/ear buds and only wish I found them sooner. I'm female, a frequent runner and live in a city. I work up a sweat when I run so the only headphones that would stay in my ears/on my head prior to finding Shokz were the big sound - cancelling headphones. This left me feeling really vulnerable to traffic and to who may be around me. My Shokz bone conductors has totally changed this. I can now run with banging beats but also feeling aware of what/who is around me. The sound quality is amazing and I've even taken calls (when I can catch my breath) and I can hear the person on the phone clearly and they can also hear me clearly. I recently did a 24 hour relay run, which involved running through the night in the dark and I had my Shokz on, knowing I could keep in touch with the team back at the base and also listen to my favourite tunes as I ran! These are my only headphones and I use them rubbing, in the office (so I can hear people if they want to ask me a question) and on the move (particularly helpful if the train conductor asks for your ticket!) I wouldn't use any other headphones / ear buds after using Shokz.

OpenRun Mini - Great headphones!

These are such great bone-conducting headphones. I went for the Mini size which fit snugly, even under a hat. I love the latest version which gives you the battery level when you turn them on and the magnetic charge port makes charging really easy. All in all, an excellent piece of kit!

Excellent headphones but not "waterproof "

I've been using my Openrun daily for 2 years. Great for listening to music and podcasts but remaining aware of surroundings. Very comfortable and also multipoint connection. Only downside is they failed one month past warranty. After some tooing and froing with customer services I was told they are waterproof only to a certain extent depending on conditions but as Black Friday is coming up I can buy new ones. Cracking response

Love them

I've had my open run headphones for some time now and absolutely love them. I use them at work for handsfree calls and sneaky music listening (don't tell my boss) I used them on my bike, running and in the gym and have never had an issue.
In fact I love then so much that now my daughter has started running I have purchased her a pair too so she can still have that spatial awareness that's so important when running outdoors. She is only 12 and the mini fit perfect, I can safely say she's a fan. "They are fire" to quote her, that means good (I googled it)
