If there’s one word to describe Shen Jiasheng, it’s dedication. His commitment goes far beyond just the pursuit of trail running—it’s a way of life. Since discovering the sport in 2016, Shen has steadily climbed from local competitions to the international stage, earning respect through both his results and his humility.
In 2023, he claimed the runner-up title in the men’s category of the UTMB® Mont Blanc CCC (101 km), setting a historic record for Chinese athletes in the event. That moment wasn’t just a personal breakthrough—it symbolized a new milestone for Chinese trail running on the global scene.
As a professional athlete, Shen doesn’t speak much—but his results speak volumes. Off the racecourse, however, he shows a different kind of courage: he is one of the few elite runners who has chosen to get married and become a father during his competitive career. His wife Zoe and son, nicknamed “77,” have become irreplaceable sources of strength in his life. Amid long training blocks and intense race preparations, family provides him with the softest support and the deepest motivation.
“My family is my strongest support,” Shen often says. He believes that true strength doesn’t just come from speed or endurance—it’s rooted in emotional stability and being understood.
Since joining the Shokz athlete team in 2021, Shen has aligned his unwavering focus with the brand’s spirit of pushing limits. He represents the new generation of Chinese trail runners, embodying what it truly means to be dedicated—fully invested in the mountains, and fully devoted to his family.
